Industry Exclusivity Policy

At our agency, industry exclusivity is one of the core principles that sets us apart and delivers dramatically better results for our clients. We only accept local service businesses within a 50-mile radius of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and we never represent two direct competitors in the same service category within the same service area inside that radius.

This policy protects your investment. When we work together, you get our team’s complete focus, undivided attention, and strategies that are never split or diluted by a competitor in your specific niche and service territory.

How Our Industry Exclusivity Works

1. Maximum of 2 Service Categories Per Client

To keep our exclusivity promise fair and sustainable, each client is limited to two service categories.

We do not accept clients who want to claim 5, 8, 10, or more unrelated categories simply because they “can do it all.” This ensures every business in our portfolio gets the dedicated focus they deserve.


Why We Limit to Two Categories Per Client

We are also committed to scaling and growing our own agency in a healthy, sustainable way — just as we help our clients scale theirs. Allowing any single client to occupy more than two service categories would limit the total number of businesses we can serve within our 50-mile radius. By maintaining this fair cap, we can onboard more qualified local service businesses, expand our team, and continue delivering the obsessive daily optimization and white-glove service that sets us apart.


2. Handling Service Overlap

We understand many local businesses offer multiple related services. In these cases, we require the client to choose the specific service categories they want to focus their advertising on. We do not accept broad umbrella categories such as “General Contractor” or “GC.”

For example:

  • A General Contractor must decide whether they want to advertise New Home Builds, Custom Decks, Remodeling, or another specific service.
  • We will only run advertising for the exact categories they select. We do not change websites or other marketing material they have for those additional services - we just simply do not advertise them for them.
  • If we already have a dedicated roofing client in our 50-mile radius, we will not run roofing ads for that General Contractor (even if they offer roofing services).

This keeps the policy fair, prevents any single company from occupying multiple exclusive spots, and ensures every client receives highly targeted, high-performing campaigns. As niched targeting is how to get results.


3. Service Area & Exclusivity Considerations

Our primary service area is businesses located within 50 miles of Coeur d’Alene.

Exclusivity decisions take into account both the service category and the actual geographic areas each business serves. Not every contractor or service provider covers the entire 50-mile radius — for instance, some only operate on the Idaho side while others primarily serve the Washington side (such as Spokane or Post Falls).

If two businesses in the same category have minimal or no direct overlap in the specific territories they serve, we may accept both. This flexibility allows us to support strong local businesses without creating unfair competition. If one decides to move into the others service are we will still not overlap their advertising targeting.

 

4. Service Area Exceptions & Travel

We do make limited exceptions for outstanding businesses located outside the standard 50-mile radius. In these cases, the client agrees to cover our travel fees for any in-person visits or on-site meetings that may be required. We have successfully worked with multiple clients outside our standard radius for many years — they have found the results well worth the investment in travel.


5. Our Right to Make Final Decisions

We reserve the right to evaluate every new opportunity and make the final decision on acceptance. Our goal is always to:

  • Remain 100% loyal to our existing clients
  • Protect the integrity of our industry-exclusive model
  • Make choices that deliver the strongest possible results for everyone we serve

We will never accept a new client if it creates a direct conflict with an existing one in the same category and service area. When overlap or boundary questions arise, we communicate openly and transparently with all parties involved.
